Policy for the Prevention and Management of Conflicts of Interest

At ABIUDEA we are committed to integrity, transparency and accountability in all our decisions. We avoid situations in which the personal, family or business interests of our staff could influence their impartiality and damage trust in the organization.

Staff must avoid taking part in decisions such as recruitment, contracts or procurement whenever there is a possible conflict of interest, whether real or perceived.

Every staff member must immediately report any conflict of interest, current or potential, to their supervisor or to the person designated to handle these cases.

Staff must report any suspected conflict of interest, even if it has not been officially identified, to ensure fair and impartial decisions. Concealing a conflict of interest is a serious breach and may result in disciplinary sanctions, including warnings, suspension or even dismissal, depending on the severity of the case.

Complying with this policy is essential to maintain an ethical and transparent working environment, ensuring that every decision is made for the benefit of the community and of ABIUDEA's mission.
